TIAA and Oath Team Up to Launch Difference Maker 100 Program

We're excited to announce that Oath is teaming up with financial services company TIAA as its strategic media partner to launch the TIAA Difference Maker 100 program, with world-class athlete and advocate Laila Ali serving as a Difference Maker 100 ambassador. To commemorate TIAA's centennial, this initiative will celebrate 100 individuals in the nonprofit world who are making a powerful difference in the world.
The campaign was conceived by TIAA and designed and executed by RYOT Studio, Oath's in-house creative studio. RYOT Studio created a custom, all-new Difference Maker 100 hub on HuffPost, which houses relevant editorial and custom native content, including multi-media articles and video pieces that highlight compelling stories of difference makers in various sectors across the United States.
RYOT Studio is also facilitating the Difference Maker 100 program on the Difference Maker 100 hub, where TIAA will accept submissions from people who work for nonprofits, ultimately choosing 100 honorees who are making a positive impact via their personal and professional endeavors. Submissions will be featured in a gallery within the Difference Maker 100 hub.
The Difference Maker 100 honorees will each receive $10,000 for the nonprofit where they are working to make a better world, totaling $1 million in donations from TIAA. Submissions will be accepted starting today through June 12. An esteemed panel of judges will select the final 100 honorees. All entries will be reviewed based on a variety of criteria including impact, creativity, perseverance and motive.
Speaking to her involvement in the TIAA Difference Maker 100 program and to support those making exceptional contributions in the nonprofit world, Ali shared: "I'm thrilled to collaborate with Oath and TIAA – a company that has been making a positive impact for decades through its purpose-driven business, investing and corporate philanthropy – to celebrate its centennial. As a Difference Maker 100 ambassador, I will help recognize individuals who work at nonprofits and tirelessly work to move a cause forward, lift up their local community and serve others. This program inspires all of us to give back and make a positive impact."
To give an even bigger voice to the important work that people are doing to create a positive change, additional content will run across multiple Oath brands. There will be supporting high-impact display ads on the AOL homepage, Yahoo Gemini native ads and advanced targeting through the BrightRoll platform. And thanks to RYOT Studio, all of the Difference Maker 100 content will be mobile-optimized so that viewers can easily watch and enjoy the incredible stories of selflessness on-the-go from their mobile devices.
